The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by the candidate of the PDP challenging the election of Governor Godwin Obaseki for lacking in merit. The apex court said it will give its reasons for the judgment on July 24, 2017.The PDP and its candidate, Ize Iyamu, had challenged Obaseki’s election, alleging manipulation of the governorship election.
NAIJ.com had previously reported that the Appeal Court recently validated the election of Obaseki as the governor of Edo State.
